I built a simplistic ship replica of the Argo. Created a minimalistic but symbolistic heavy animation of the scene's dialogue and action. Then, using projection mapping, I display that animation onto the sail of the ship with textured water on the hull.
University Theatre at North Carolina State University takes on the ancient tale of Jason and the Argonauts in a uniquely modern way. Featuring the skills of 25 actors and 20 visual artists from NC State's campus and beyond, this project is a collaboration that underlines one of the main themes of Jason's story: teamwork.
